MY K A R A O K E C O M M A N D M E N T S
Written by Gerrie Woo
- Do not swing the mic around. It is dangerous and will damage the cord!
- Don't trip on the cord, people will think you are drunk.
- Don't put the mike directly in front of the speakers. It causes an ear shattering, screeching noise that hurts.
- Acknowledge your applause with a thank you! It's just good manners.
- Please don't come on the stage while someone is performing, unless approved. It is rude.
- Absolutely NO drinking while on stage. I don't like it! #%$#*!
- If you are going to yell, scream or whistle into the mic, move the mic away from your mouth. That hurts too!
- Jumping up and down on stage could dislodge the discs. Then we'd have to close down for repairs. A "bummer" for all of us.
- Your mouth should never touch the mic! Yuk! Germs!
- Don't wait until you are fallen down, sloppy assed drunk to sing, You may think you sound great, but you'll look and sound like a sloppy assed drunk to us.
